The Founding Father

This canvas is a tribute to the Founding Father of the UAE and the spirit of a nation that became my home in 2019. After moving to Dubai, I was profoundly moved by the safety, the efficiency, and the unprecedented leaps forward the country has achieved. It did not take long for me to stop feeling like a guest and start calling this land home.

The work explores the concept of expansion and legacy. By taking a foundational image and extending its horizon, I aimed to mirror the way a single vision can grow to define an entire landscape. It reflects my own journey of moving forward and dreaming bigger in a place that accepted me and provided the structure to thrive.

Through this portrait, I wanted to capture the quiet strength of the man who made this progress possible. It is a personal expression of gratitude to a country that allows for both ambition and peace, and a reminder that when we find the right environment, our potential has no limits.
